Isaiah 42:16
And I will lead the blind
in a way that they do not know,
in paths that they have not known
    I will guide them.
I will turn the darkness before them into light,
the rough places into level ground.
These are the things I do,
and I do not forsake them.

Once upon a time, there was a little girl.  That little girl had a wonderful family filled up with three sisters, three brothers and two parents.  Far away from the little girl lived a wise aunt who sent the girl a beautiful, yet simple and small, present.  Yet, oddly enough, the wise Creator would use that little gift to help guide and shape one girl's life.
Well, of course, I was that little girl.  Years ago when I had just entered the teen world my aunt sent us all Christmas ornaments, and mine was in the image of a harp!  One look and I was hooked.  Right then I know that someday and somehow, the Lord had made me to play that instrument.  Of course, it did not happen right away.  A couple of years later, my family was able to provide me some piano lessons and then later harp lessons.  Eventually, I would graduate high school and, after much prayer, enroll in an university as a harp major.  Over the years, I have been able to study under three lovely teachers: Paula Smith, Joy Yu Hoffman, and Serena O'Meara.  Studying in college was such a joy as I was able to perform with many collegiate ensembles such as the University Symphony Orchestra, Concert Choir, Wind Symphony, Women's Concert Chorale, and the University Harp Ensemble.  Now I have officially graduated with a Harp Performance degree from the University of Eau Claire, WI, and am excited to see what other unknown paths lay ahead!
